When I got World Adventures and installed it on my Mac Laptop it did a very bad thing and the hand tool in the build mode, buy mode, and the personal inventory would stop working within a couple minutes of play after awhile.  This was before I started my Legacy on The Sims 3, but after I had started my plan to play each of the Original families in Sunset Valley, sort of to story form since there is no back ground info other than what they write in the house info field now.  The one thing I really don't like about the game, no memories.  So I decided to start the Crumplebottom home over and this time, play smarter since I have learned a lot since the last time I played this Sims.

My Notes before starting play:

Agnes Crumplebottom hadn't even changed her last name to her husband's when an unfortunate accident on her honeymoon ended the marriage. Between her growing bitterness and her husband's ghost scaring away gentleman callers, only the bravest Sim would ever try to win her heart and fortune now.

She is a Young Adult when the game first loads and her traits are as follows: Grumpy, Loner, Hopeless Romantic, Bookworm, and Frugal. Her Lifetime Wish is to become an Illustrious Author with means maxing Writing and Painting Skill. Her Favorites are Classical Music, Lobster Thermidor, and the color Spice Brown. She knows Cornelia Goth, Fiona McIrish, Mortimer Goth, Gunther Goth, and River McIrish, but is only friendly with Cornelia, her sister. The Skills she had when the game first started were Painting at level 8 and Cooking at level 6.

My plan for Agnes is simple, I want her to have a baby with her husband, who is currently a ghost. If I ever get the option to make him living again I will take it, but for now, ghost love will have to do.

Based on the gravestone we know that Erik Darling drowned on their honeymoon, possibly in the hotel pool. I checked his traits in her family tree and he was Easily Impressed, Friendly, Hopeless Romantic, Good Sense of Humor, and Excitable. Sounds like someone I would have liked had he been a real person.

Because I had to replay this due to install problem on my laptop when World Adventures came out (don't worry, Legacy is still working, it is base game only and started after World Adventures was removed from the laptop) I decided to go about it differently than I did the first time. I sold all of her painting she already had and got her a cheap computer instead of the laptop I originally got her. She began working on writing her first novel on the first day.

I also started her painting much more quickly than I previously did because I have learned the money does run out because her bills are rather large.

Then, because she rolled the want for it, she studied gardening.

I had her buy partnerships with the Diner...

...Book Shop...

...and Grocery Store in town before she didn't have enough to get the next cheapest partnership which is the Bistro. The money from these partnerships will hopefully be enough to cover her bills and allow her to slowly build up some cash for my secondary plan for her, total ownership of Sunset Valley.

Erik Darling finally showed up on the fifth day. Because I figured out how to use testingcheatsenabled true to increase relationship scores they went from friends to...

...flirting to...

...going steadying in about three interactions. Normally I would not cheat but she was getting rather hungry (which I also learned to cheat to fix) and I wanted to get this moving; based on my last experience with this Sim and her ghost husband, you cannot rely on him to come out every night and he does not always react positively to flirting when I have her do those interactions.

It did not take long to get them in bed together, about 10 interactions.

There was a lullaby on the first try which was great because...

...it was after 4 am when they finished and Erik had to go back to the underworld. She looks very content in this photo.

Erik did show up the next day and was told about his impending fatherhood. He seemed pleased with the idea.

I just thought this was cute.

How I wish I could get him back to life for her. They seem so genuinely sweet together.

Now, there is a basket and we have learned from other people's journals that this means multiple births if there is only one person going to the hospital. First a little confession. I moved the stereo from the living room of her home to the dinning room since that was where she was writing her novels and turned it on and never turned it off. I didn't realize it had turned on to the Kids station, which I know from reading the guide increases the chance of multiple births. I also decided in my infinite wisdom to give her the fertility treatment reward because in the past when I gave them that after conceiving it didn't increase the chance of twins or triplets in that pregnancy, only future pregnancies.

She had triplets, my first set of triplets ever in the game. I don't have a picture of them because I am trying to decide if I stop playing her home now or if I play until she passes away. I wasn't sure how long I was going to play her family anyway because I achieved the main goal I had set for myself with her, but I am still considering either playing until she achieves her lifetime want or she dies of old age, because generally all my Sims die of unless I really make a big mistake, like I did with her having triplets.

The other fun thing is when the first child was born, I didn't know there was going to be another one so I named him Casper like I did the first time and by random roll of the dice he got Athletic and Clumsy. Then the second one came up so I looked up Casper's enemies and named the next one Lazo, he rolled Friendly and Good so now I want to swap their names. They are both ghost babies. The third on is a live baby and his name is Fusso and he is Athletic and Loner so his might change to some human Casper new in the series.

For now I am planning to play them again, if for no other reason than to get the names sorted out for the three boys. I don't want to change the layout of the house so if I play them through to adulthood I have to figure out where they are all going to sleep, but that is for later. Next, I am going to play my The Sims 3 Legacy Sim and that will be the next update I do, but it will have to wait until my head calms down.

Oh, if the large image size is a problem for anyone, please let me know and I can switch back to medium sized for non-Suichi Legacy things.  I was considering just using medium with a link to the album if anyone wanted to see them large, but I wasn't sure if anyone would actually click to the album and the large images are so much clearer to look at.

Thank you, I will. :)
