The Sims 3, Sims 3 SimSelf

Request for help on making posters in The Sims 3

I managed to get a couple of screen shots of Amy rocking out on her guitar on a stage at one of the community lots I placed and I thought it would be really cool to have a poster of her in the house, but now I am not sure how to do that.  I vaguely remember something about being able to paint from pictures on the cell phones, but no one was there with her to do that (although I could always send her back with a family member this time, but with my memory, I am not sure if I am remembering something that is actually possible, or just something I thought would be nice to have, arg my brain can be annoying sometimes!!!).  I was thinking an actual poster, that would be in buy mode would be nice, because then I could put one up at both of the fake clubs I have in the game and randomly have people stop and look at it through out the generations of the game.

I also need to see if I can figure out how to make it a tee shirt.  I have the pattern maker, but I don't want Amy's face all over the shirt, just in the center like shirts you get at concerts, maybe with so dates on the back like it is a tour shirt, but I would be happy with just her face on the front.

Does anyone know if there is an object editor that would work on a mac?  I am willing to do the work myself, I am just not sure where to begin looking (I went through a few forums, but didn't notice threads about making stuff).  If someone can just point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.
The Sims 3, Sims 3 SimSelf

It has been a very good day

Sometimes no matter how bad you feel when you woke up, something good happens and even if you can't walk straight you are still grinning from ear to ear.  Today I got one of my uploaded featured on thesims3.com.  I have been playing the Sims since 2000 when The Sims came out although I didn't start uploading until The Sims 2.  I used to make random Sims and houses all of the time trying to find some way to get a featured item because I just thought it would be cool.  For The Sims 3 I haven't made as much, but I think I have put more effort into what I have uploaded (I am particularly proud of the way my Bushwalla Sim came out, look more like him in real life than my Mraz Sim does, but Mraz is hard to make in the Sims because of the cheek bones).

Anyway, thanks to the pattern maker I felt like I could make things that might not be what everyone else was making and less subjective to the "is it a pretty Sim in only my mind" problems.  I made a couple of wallpaper patterns with the vine/leaves and they got more downloads than I expected.  Then one night I got an idea for a plumbob wallpaper design and so I made that and uploaded it.  Today on twitter The Sims 3 account was asking for people to link to stuff they had recently uploaded and send it to them and they would retweet the best ones and so I did and they retweeted which made me extastic because I thought I might get a couple more downloads and maybe a recommendation out of it (the first badge for recommendations requires 100, for a while I thought I was going to have to upload 100 things and recommend them all myself.)  Then when I went to load the game because I had an idea for how to finish off a park I have been trying to make in Barnacle Bay (non-posting game play, because I need something for when I cannot focus on the Legacy and picture taking and posting) it said I had a message which I thought was odd because I had just been to the site.  The message was for the Featured Member Badge and the plumbob wallpaper is now a featured item!!!  I am so happy!!!

Anyway, I thought I would link it here as a go me kind of post and because it just made me so happy.

By the way, if anyone else is on thesims3.com and wouldn't mind hitting the rec button on one or two of my uploads I would really appreciate it. I normally can't stand asking for recs but I really want the first badge in the rec series. I don't expect to get beyond the first one because the last one requires something like 1500 recs and I know that will never happen except by a miracle.

Just found out that of the four they retweeted, only mine and a freezer bunny pattern actually got featured!!! Yeah!!
