A Very Random Sims 3 Legacy - Week 9 - Amy's Week

So this week's post will be in three posts because there were so many pictures and there was so much going on. The first post also shows the return of Amy's journal because she finally started talking to me again, but this time as the smack talking granny; I actually had to reel her in some because some of the lines she was throwing me would have raised the rating of this blog.

But I can never stop loving Amy, who would have thought a child hating, marriage avoiding, outdoor loathing woman could start such a successful legacy (hey, generation three was born, I consider that successful because I usually don't make it this long in the game.) I'm hoping she last long enough to see everyone make it to at least the child stage, although I am not sure if she will survive to see them all hit teen since she is somewhere around 78/79 days old by the end of this week.

A Very Random Sims 3 Legacy - Week 9 - Belle's Week

Part 2 of the 3 part post and now we have how Belle saw the week. I am seriously considering putting Belle and Hugh into part time jobs to prevent the stir-crazy moodlet that was so close to coming this week since they only left the lot twice in the whole week. I swear these two live with WooHoo and have baby wishes perpetually in their want panels, even after they have a baby, 30 Sim minutes later, the wants roll right back into the panel. I don't know why I kept giving into them, guess I kind of fell in love with Hugh and Belle because they are so lovely dovey and I love happy, sappy, lovely dovey couples.

A Very Random Sims 3 Legacy - Week 9 - Children's Week (well, Clark)

Part 3 and the final post of Week 9. Since this has become a rather heavy legacy up until this week I wanted to make sure that there was something super cute and light hearted this week and Clark just fit the bill. Clark may not be in the running for heirship, but oh how I love him so much and every time I look at him he looks like he is just saying, "hi, I'm cute, you love me don't you, can I be heir?"

Not sure how next week's Children's post will go, may have them decide to share the journal and fight over what to say about each picture, that would be cute wouldn't it?

Memories: My first concert with Kevin

Because I have been loosing large chunks of my memory it was suggested that when I do remember something that I write it down to help make sure I can go back to it later and remember it. When this memory was sparked by hearing the song I thought I would share it.

One of the first things Kevin did for me when I moved out here to be with him was take me to a concert and the band playing the whole concert was Journey. They were doing a two part concert and the opening act was actually playing on a separate stage as people walked in for seating.  Kevin had told me who we were going to see but I didn't recognize the name, turns out there are a lot of groups I know but don't know the name of, and I kept asking him what Journey sings.  Kevin kept telling me I would know who they were once they started singing.

During the whole first set he kept asking if I knew who they were yet, seems they were doing the lesser known songs first, and so I kept saying no.  Then the last song of the first set was Any Way You Want It and I nearly leapt out of my seat.  I know that song, I love that song, how could I have not known who sang it?  It is one of my favorite songs of all time!

Turns out I only actually knew three songs by Journey, but Kevin has a greatest hits album which I listen to with great regularity and love pretty much all of them.  Needless to say, for the rest of the concert I was either doing what I refer to as seat dancing where you bounce around like crazy to the rhythm of the music or swaying back and forth during the slow song.  I also remember that a couple next to us let me borrow their blanket because it was an outside concert and we didn't realize how cold it was going to get when the sun went down.

Hope you enjoyed the memory, I enjoyed remembering it :-)
