The Sims 3, Sims 3 SimSelf

The Sims 3: Wii Version: Beach Tycoon: Part 4

As suggested yesterday, I did some rearranging today when I first loaded the game.  It basically followed what I said I was going to do, but I did not wall in the bathroom; Alex doesn't seem to mind it being open and it makes it easier for me because I have a hard time lining him up with the doors in this game.  I also bought a sofa for the living room to make it look more like a living room and less like a skill room and because he wanted it, a mirror for the bedroom (cheaper than buying the skill books for Charisma anyway).

Still Friday:

First I sent him to see a movie because he was still stressed from the shift he just completed (see previous post) and then sent him to the gym and had him do yoga (I might buy him a yoga mat for home, that would go really well with his stacked trailer park living.)  Then it was home, bath, bed.

First work day at new level, again, had him do each of the open tasks once to determine which would be good for getting a promotion and improving boss and coworker relationships.

Desk Information (winner)
Map Circling (worst)
Review Resort Facts
Problem Solving

Ones to open:
Employee Rebates
VIP Night Planning
Calling for Rebates

After work I had him talk to a coworker (at least I think it was a coworker) and while he was talking he got a moodlet that someone died.  I checked his relationship panel and it turned out he had three coworkers and one boss, I thought he had two coworkers and one boss.  One of his coworkers died, don't know that I ever had him talk to the person.  This death caused a 24 hour negative moodlet that was so bad he never came out of the bottom end of yellow on the mood scale no matter what I did for him.

Sunday (day off):

He spent the day skill building by going to classes because he kept rolling wants to go to classes.  Also had him do the Work Opportunity Company Trip where you hold a meeting at the stadium.

By the end of the day I realized he had more than enough Reward points for the Office Hero reward which was next on my list to buy.

Monday (day off):

Basically a repeat of yesterday except I didn't have him complete any Opportunities.  At the end of the day he had enough reward points to buy the Fun Times reward which will be useful because he is always stressed after work; this was also the third reward on my list I wanted to buy.

He spent the whole day at work doing the Desk Information task over and over again and did manage to open VIP Night and the Employee Rebates task but he never did them.  His coworkers are now almost as happy with him as his boss is and that is pretty happy and he got another promotion.

I know it says in the job panel that he needs Charisma and Logic for his job, but it has never said he needs to earn the skills to move up in the job.  I am wondering if this is something they accidentally left out or he just hasn't gotten high enough.  One thing I am looking forward to is that the guide does say at level 4 he opens the ability to find random treasure in town; I don't know how you go about looking (it doesn't say in the guide) but I look forward to giving it a try when I figure it out.
