So in a weird twist and I am able to work and write a blog entry at the same time because I am waiting for a program to finish running (which is technically work) so I thought I would write about Wil Wheaton.  Why you ask would I want to write about Wil Wheaton, because I have had a crush on Wil for 21 years, that’s why, and it is a good enough reason as far as I am concerned.

So where to begin, I’ve thought a lot about this but I don’t know if there is any really best place so I will just start with when I was 10 and I was introduced to Wesley Crusher, who I would later figure out was portrayed by Wil Wheaton thanks to opening credits.  When I was 10 the very first episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation was aired (will be referred to as TNG for rest of post) and the very first time I saw Wesley Crusher, I was instantly attracted to him.  He was cute, he was smart (as far I was concerned) he was the first male anything I was ever attracted to.  To me Wesley was the best thing about TNG, and any die Wesley die people who might come across this can just keep moving on because there is nothing you can say to make me change my 10-year brain’s opinion.  Now to be completely honest, I thought Captain Picard was the second best thing in TNG, how I managed to go for the youngest and oldest people on the show I will never know; maybe it has something to do with Wesley was the closest to my age and I have just always had a thing for bald men with great confidence and leadership qualities.
