We begin this week at one of Moon Beams neighbors homes. She managed to clean out the backyard of the Landgraab Estate and so we have moved on to the Alto Household. We have learned that the stuff will regenerate in the backyards over time so do not feel bad for the Sims that are missing items from their households.

I discovered, much to my great surprise that the fire pit was part of the base game and did not come with World Adventures. I was so happy to find this because now she can roast all of the veg she has been growing and get slightly higher hunger score for it, plus she gets the toasty moodlet from it. It took a couple of nights to get this in her family inventory.

Once we had the fire pit I decided she could actually start living off her lawn rather than at the gym, saves time on stealing from the neighbors and going back home to garden.

I also sent her to explore the catacombs in the graveyard and on the first try she came back with what I wanted, The Mysterious Mr. Gnome.

The Mysterious Mr. Gnome moved around the lot a few times, sleeping in the front yard...

...marveling at Moon Beam's produce...

...sleeping with Moon Beam's produce...

...I just really like this picture, moving on...

...sleeping on the bar...

...I did not realize ponds were free in The Sims 3, moving on...

...he finally settled in this position on the bar and hasn't moved since. I never touched him and I did actually see him move twice out of all of the times he actually moved, which is more than I got pictures for.

I would think he would get tired holding his leg up like this forever but I guess he is in better shape than me.

Moon Bean actually has it pretty good. She doesn't work, she gets to sleep half the day away (because the lounge chairs do not provide the option to sleep till fully rested), she gets to garden and fish to her hearts content, and we got enough reward points to get her the Discount Diner reward so she regularly eats out at the fancy restaurant in town free of charge.

Here she was only a little hungry so I had her roast fish (this was actually a goldfish, I did feel bad about her eating it). If I hadn't spent seven Sim weeks trying to steal a bed out of the Landgraab Estate that I eventually realized it would never let me steal this update would have come much sooner.

I wonder if they realized she is the one that has been stealing from everyone's backyard.

This update could have come sooner if I hadn't spent seven weeks trying to steal a double bed out of someone's home. She has had one visit buy the repoman but it was a woman so I am going to try and get another as soon as the next bill is past due. I did find out that while you cannot interact with the repoman when they are coming to repo, the do end up in your contact list and you can call them up later. Nothing was actually repoed because I moved all of her stuff into her family inventory and the girl just sort of stood around for a minute, threw her hands up and left, didn't get a picture of it. If I can get a guy before too long then Moon will be marrying a repoman and I will be a happy Simmer.
